A prophet is never accepted at home. This is the case of Justice Mkumba Malawi’s top animator who almost got sued by Muhanya after using his song in a video. Well Morgan Heritage band leader, Gramps Morgan was excited after a video that the animator made got his attention. He called the animator not with a law suit threat but with a suggestion of future business.
“I was at home working on my next animation when I got an international. When I answered Gramps introduced himself but I thought it was scammers then I listened to his voice I knew it was him.”
Gramps asked Justice why he decided to use the song in the video and his response was its his favourite song.
“He just laughed and said he really thought it was funny and that he is planning on engaging me on one of his next project” said the creator of Bengo.
He said it is exciting to be noticed from overseas. He also said he has more episodes of the Bengo comedy animation series.
